Millennium Fellowship Project: Dzuka Msungwana!- Girl wake up!

Educating a group of girls aged 16- 18 about sexual and reproductive health rights as well as sexually transmitted infections and the sequelae of abortion.

About the Millennium Fellow

Hazel Chitere is a passion driven young lady who strives to impact the lives of those she interacts with. She was born in a small town called Gweru in Zimbabwe. She completed her primary and secondary education in Zimbabwe and is currently studying medicine and surgery in Malawi. Hazel is particularly enthustiatic in assisting underprivileged individuals in the society in as far as their health privileges are concerned; For example, she indulges in voluntary work at a local hospital in Gweru during her school holidays. She has a dream of establishing a cardiac center for treating economically challenged people. In addition, Hazel greatly believes in the importance of accomplishing tasks as -a team and finds it easy to work well with people regardless of differences in beliefs.
