United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Naija Climate Now

Naija Climate Now is a project established to implement climate solutions through art. The sole purpose of the project is to raise awareness about the adverse effects of climate change and the feasible ways to take responsibility to protect our planet from degradation. The advocacy is made through artworks with thought provoking meaning to create a huge impact on the minds of people.

About the Millennium Fellow

Victory Ashaka is a multiple award-winning spoken word artiste, poetry slam champion, content creator, climate activist, sdgs advocate and an undergraduate student of English Literature at Lagos State University. He is artistically inclined with passion for oratory, known as a social impact maker and high-energy spoken word performer. He is the President of Literary Voice Club and the Ex-officio of LASU Debate Society. He is also a youth advocate at Solution-17 global, Generation unlimited initiative and UNICEF Nigeria, where he uses his artistry for social action. His artistic mantra is to serve humanity through social impact, as a beacon of hope for others to find their paths.
