Millennium Fellowship Project: Nshira
Many small businesses in Lebanon continue to suffer the consequences of the Beirut blast and economic recession. Our goal is to launch an Instagram page through which we post videos promoting enterprises. Through social media, we plan to shed light on these businesses in hopes of reaching new groups of potential customers.
We are working with Beirutopia, an NGO with ideas and stances aligning with those of the project. The Instagram platform they provide us with will allow us to promote 4 businesses every month.
After each post, we will determine its success level by monitoring the views, likes, and comments it receives. Moreover, we will stay in contact with the business owners which allows determining whether the promotion is helping advance their sales.
