" The Millennium Fellowship is one of the most prestigious, well-organized leadership development programs that inspires positive influence on so many lives and generations. I strongly believe this program will guide me, help me develop cultural competency and leadership skills, and inspire me to initiate highly beneficial projects to help elevate the community around me. It would be an honor to be part of this program and thrive under it to influence the lives of people one at a time, and my own as well. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Tomorrow Is Different

“Tomorrow is Different” was initiated with the hopes and dreams of 2 students for having a fair, giving community where one individual’s struggle is a whole community’s concern. We chose our idea because we came from struggling backgrounds and we want what we went through to be our motive to make the world we live in a better, warmer one, and we’re starting from our community hoping to expand to change as many lives as we can. The main target of this project is to find and support families and individuals suffering from poverty by aiding them and helping them treat the roots of their problems in many ways. We conducted several workshops on our university campus tackling this topic and opened donation sections for our project in some NGOs, while communicating with the poor and delivering their message. We also worked on connecting the disadvantaged with organizations that either placed them under certain protection programs or helped them develop a skill or get integrated into the job market. Moreover, we collaborated with a community service project conducted by students on our campus where we would distribute food, clothes, and basic needs to homeless and disadvantaged people on the streets every week.
