" Anyone can have an impact on our world. Any individual can become a leader with a little guidance and support. The Millennium Fellowship Program will hone my skills and direct my passion toward helping others and making the best of my time here on Earth. It will provide me with the necessary tools to lead those around me and contribute to the formation of a better society, and ultimately, a better world. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Tag Along

"Tag Along" is a project aimed to help the Lebanese community in reaching their health goals after having suffered from the Beirut port blast, the Covid lockdown, and their ongoing economic struggles. These factors have severely affected the Lebanese community's mental health and economic status decreasing their healthy food options and their ability to exercise, join gyms or engage in any form of physical activity. Tag Along is a platform that will help engage different groups in the community depending on their location, age, and gender to create an encouraging environment full of support. This platform will create support groups and send them various physical activities and nutrient-dense recipes that they can do together or separately (marathons, workouts, dance lessons, etc), and it will allow them to send messages or pictures to each other when they complete each activity. This will not only elevate their well-being but also allows them to make new friends in close proximity to which they can talk to about their similar problems and interests which will help their mental health to a great extent. I will start implementing this in the Lebanese American University using WhatsApp after having them fill a very short form in my Tag Along booth. It can easily be implemented within the next month.
