" I'm so excited to be a Millennium Fellow!, It's a huge platform that can take what we do to a greater audience and also serves as an opportunity to learn and see how others are Impacting their society. The reason I do what I do is that, in our society, I've seen what the consequences of making bad choices in regards to healthcare can cause. It has caused untimely loss of loved ones, breadwinners, bright young people, and a whole lot more and this is due to ridiculous beliefs, myths and many other factors that plagues our society. I simply want to help people make better choices. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Education: A Tool to Alleviating Poverty

Education; is a tool to alleviating poverty.
“Education is a powerful driver of development and one of the strongest instruments for reducing poverty, improving health, gender equality, peace, and stability.”
Our project was based on UNAI Goals 1 and 3, which are: addressing poverty through education, and Education for All, ensuring educational opportunities for all regardless of gender, race, religion/ ethnicity.
After deliberating on this, we came up with a project title that will address both goals at the same time during the project we spoke extensively on the project Title, enlighten the students on SDGs, and career choices after secondary school and had a quiz session where all participants were given a certificate.
