" Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will help enhance my leadership skills and would also give me an opportunity to increase my social impact schools and the community around me. It would be an avenue to learn more and be a better person for myself, family and community at large thereby contributing more to my society. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Education: A Tool to Alleviating Poverty

Education; is a tool to alleviating poverty.
“Education is a powerful driver of development and one of the strongest instruments for reducing poverty, improving health, gender equality, peace, and stability.”
Our project was based on UNAI Goals 1 and 3, which are: addressing poverty through education, and Education for All, ensuring educational opportunities for all regardless of gender, race, religion/ ethnicity.
After deliberating on this, we came up with a project title that will address both goals at the same time during the project we spoke extensively on the project Title, enlighten the students on SDGs, and career choices after secondary school and had a quiz session where all participants were given a certificate.
