Name: Kadiatu A Sheriff
Nationality: Liberian
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Bio:
A student of public health at the state run university of Liberia. She is currently the climate Education Coordinator of the Liberian Youth for Climate Actions-LYCA, a leading youth climate and environmental Advocacy Group in Liberia, and she is a participant in leading dialogues in climate change efforts. She is an emerging social entrepreneur, founder and President of the Golden Waste Solutions Enterprise Inc., providing quality waste management services in her communities with focus on plastic recycling inorder to minimize the threat of plastic waste on marine and terrestrial environments and it's contribution to greenhouse gas emissions, to conserve natural resources and habitats and achieve some level of social cohesion; working with marginalized women girls and persons (Youths)with physical disabilities through crafting of plastic waste as well.
She had been setting the pace and building momentum for youth involvement in Solutions building around the triple planetary crisis and leading some examples through the establishment of her social Enterprise GoldenWaste Solutions Enterprise Inc.; recruiting her peers for harnessing climate and environmental knowledge amongst local inhabitants of her communities in leveraging waste resources to create skill and unskilled jobs in the sector of waste.
