" It is widely known that an innovative mind with a passionate heart requires a foundational support mechanism to bring about a commendable change in society. For me, I believe that this support shall be provided by the UNAI and MCN principles and training. As a Millennium Fellow, I will be able to use the resources provided by these organisations to create a strong impact. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project BeYou

For Goal 5, I plan to start a project- Project BeYou. The Project shall cover marginalised genders- women and the LGBTQIA+ and work towards their empowerment. Under this I plan to:
- Conduct a field research on understanding the marginalisation and stigmatisation
- Take upon the cruical topic of Climate Resilience keeping our target group of the LGBTQIA+ community as the focus and build upon sub-projects under the same by collaboration with LSR's society- Prakriti, working towards environment conservation
- While at the same time, work towards breaking the set gender norms by taking up plays and other forms of art that directly break the shackles of stereotypes- by collaboration with LSR's Dramatics Society and LSR Dance Society.
- Alongwith, seek out to raise awareness in a target community identified by the team in or around Delhi by conducting various feasible and inclusive drives.
- Conducting events/ galas/ shows which normalise the beauty as we want it to be against the set beauty standards by society
- Collaborating with NGOs like Sashakt Foundation and Sewa Bharat to address the issue of Digital Divide and increase financial literacy.
