Millennium Fellowship Project: Participatory Economic Development for Communities
It deals with SDG 8 Which is economic growth and decent works. It's generally about improving economic growth in our local communities by trying to advice them on how to they could improve their current businesses and esrlyablish new ones for those who don't have any. The aim is to improve their standards of living through capitalism, investion, innovation and industrialisation. For economic growth they needed to be adviced about savings and the most effective way to use them.
About the Millennium Fellow
Bijuma Abdulrahman a maseno 4th year student pursuing bachelor's degree in geospatial information science. She's an innovative and very active thinker who is also outgoing. Growing in a small village and learning far away from has brought much exposure to her. She's talented and a peacemaker. Being in different youth groups and organisations has given her experience on different issues affecting women and children and how to mitigate them. she's also good at public speaking and
