About the Millennium Fellow

Rebecca Atieno is a determined lady.Being the first born in her family,she hopes to make a change in her family.She works hard in school and tries to achieve her best.She was born in a small village called Sinogo,was brought up by her two parents Mr and Mrs nyamuthe.when she reached 3 years old, she started schooling at Sinogo primary school.When she reached her grade eight she studied very hard and scored 369/500 marks(national exams).the following year she went to kadika girls high school where after four years she also managed to pass well with a grade of B.her parents were proud and managed to take her to Maseno university to pursue education.at first it was not in her dreams to become a teacher since she wanted to be a journalist .she looks forward to being a great teacher in future and changing peoples lives and serving as a role model to many
