Millennium Fellowship Project: Mploy+
Unemployment is a common economic malady faced by each and every country of the world,
irrespective of their economic system and the level of development achieved. But the nature of
unemployment prevailing in underdeveloped or developing countries sharply differs to that of developed
countries of the world. At the regional and national level, citizens are eligible for many available
employment schemes, government programs and other beneficial NGO Activities. To bridge this gap
between people and employment programs and to help them access these programs we have developed
an idea for an application. ‘Mploy’ is to educate the general public about these programs and schemes.
Our app aims to bring them all under the same roof to be accessed by everyone.
About the Millennium Fellow
Maria Rachel Joseph is a young and vibrant senior student in Computer Science Engineering at Government Model Engineering College, Kerala, India. Maria is very determined to be part of the solution that makes a positive impact in society. Through the project, she aims to help irradicate poverty prevailing in society, by uplifting the youth. Youths are an asset that help build the nation, hence directing them in finding suitable job applications can result in maximizing their contribution to society.
