Millennium Fellowship Project: CancerCare

Cancer and other health information, whether in print or online, should come from a trusted, credible source. Unfortunately, it has become very common for misinformation to be found online and in print.
Online sources of cancer and other health information should make it easy for people to learn who is responsible for posting the information. They should make clear the original source of the information, along with the medical credentials of the people who prepare or review the posted material.
Our Social Impact initiative aims to develop a reliable cancer support site. It also provides a general chat section where all doubts regarding cancer can be asked.

About the Millennium Fellow

Megha is a confident, determined, and hardworking student who's pursuing her
B Tech CSE course at Government Model engineering college, one of the best colleges in Kerala. She's always wanted to help people and bring up solutions to problems at the end of the day when many feel discouraged. Though many consider that while in engineering you can't majorly contribute to social causes, she is motivated enough to make an impact while still continuing with her professional course. For as long as she could remember Megha has always been passionate about her advocacies for social justice, speaking up for mental health awareness, and bringing up ideas that could in some way help the unprivileged in her immediate environment. This drive and ardor are what made her apply for the Millennium Fellowship. Throughout her high school years, she has successfully organized various philanthropic projects. Her institution has given her immense opportunity to work and collaborate with those like-minded people on the ideas that she deeply believes in and wishes to contribute to in some way or the other..
