" "Climate Change is the biggest issue of our time and it is extremely important that we treat it as such. Climate Crisis is global and to address this, a global platform will be of great help and this is precisely why I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow. Being a Millennium Fellow gives me the opportunity to get access to a global platform, thereby widening my impact." "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Call to Earth

This project aims to create awareness about climate change, need for climate action and sustainability.
We are planning to hold webinars and awareness campaigns. We are also planning on setting up thrift shops and selling hand made cloth bags to encourage people to engage in responsible consumption. The money that we collect from this will be donated to global organisations like WWF, CEF and IUCN to widen our impact.
We are also planning to start a website in which we will upload write ups which will talk about how we can live in a more eco friendly way and also do petition drives so that more people will get involved and they will get to know how bad the climate crisis is and how important it is to take action and how they can take action.
On a campus level we are planning to make our campus more greener and waste free by installing dustbins and we are also thinking of holding beach clean up drives if possible by collabrating with existing clubs.
