" What attracted me to the Fellowship was the networking opportunities through webinars and Fellows' sessions and how my seniors explained that it was a great opportunity. I have always wanted to be a part of a global community of like-minded young people working towards attaining sustainable development goals.
I understand that being a Millennium Fellow is a rare opportunity and that
this Fellowship will encourage me more to work closely on various UN programmes. I have also understood that we need to work hard to bring a change in society and this Fellowship is a platform for the same.
Also, being a Fellow of will make my work easier and hopefully will attract my peers to social work. And it will
also make people more aware about the importance and relevance of this project. It would be an honor to have this badge as we work with more young leaders to empower educate and attain "
Millennium Fellowship Project: edXplore
Our aim is to create an integrated platform to share knowledge and resources over the internet.The main ideas we are implemeting :
1) Curating a list of the best and quality resources including educational videos,documentaions etc from all over the internet. The users can rate and add the free resources in our web app. The chronological order of the resources is based on the rating of the users.
2) Create a broadcast group. Anyone interested can share their mobile number in our webapp and subscribe for our notifications.We notify them with latest free webinars,Internships,blogs erc frequently.
3) A facility to share textbooks and similar resources. Users can borrow textbooks for free and have an option to donate textbooks.If a user donates books, they earn some credit depending on the value of the book,which can be used to redeem paid books for free.
4) Provide them with best and effective roadmaps and provide mentor support if required.
About the Millennium Fellow
Vishnu R Potti,is currently pursuing B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. Vishnu is consistent, dedicated and passionate, and a pleasure to work with. He has incredible creative energies and a refreshing idealism tempered only enough to accomplish what needs to be done.
He is passionate about development , learning new technologies and working with them.
