Millennium Fellowship Project: VAim Magazine

VAim Magazine is an independent project run by Millennium Fellow Anushka Verma.
A knowledge-based platform dedicated to facilitating the augmentation of people's understanding of significant issues- with an interplay of literature, art, conscious journalism- whilst providing the youth with a forum to voice their opinions creatively on subjects that matter, in ways more than one- VAim is a youth-driven organisation with a principal emphasis on fostering an increased awareness in society, which ensues in the modelling of robust and responsible global citizens.
During the course of the fellowship, VAim will feature articles, essays, and other sorts of creative pieces from people belonging to different parts of the country, providing them with a platform to propagate their opinions on prevalent issues. We aim to publish close to 5 works every week on our website.
In addition, we aim at sharing the tales and problems faced by the underrepresented communities in the country, on our platform and subsequently conducting social campaigns and donation drives. For instance, conducting a menstruation awareness workshop and menstrual products donation drive for the refugee women in the slums of Delhi, India.
