Millennium Fellowship Project: It's Okay not to be Okay

It's Okay not to be okay is a mental health sloggan that encourages people to know that they do not have to be okay all the time. And the times that they are not, it's fine not to be. The project involves exercise, plogging, and Art therapy. The above exercises helps one relieve stress, anxiety and depression. Helping us to engage with the community more.

About the Millennium Fellow

Sarah Belinder Atieno is a hopeful dream oriented feminist, studying Communication and Public Relations in Moi University, Kenya. Born in Nairobi, Kenya she resides in Eldoret Kenya where her University is found. Her family is purely of ladies this naturally born feminist; is passionate on advocating girls' rights, equality, fighting period poverty in her community with a dream of establishing sanitary products dispensers in higher learning institutions. She's passionate about human rights, fights against GBV and dreams in helping young young ladies to make a living out of their abilities and talents. She's hopeful of her dreams and has a great drive towards them because of her own experiences and those she has observed around her; lack of this products in schools especially higher learning institutions and also seeing her peers stop schooling to get married for full financial support from the men they get married to. She resently founded an organization, 'Dada Inuka na Abilities Zako foundation' that means, " sister rise up with your abilities," whose main objectives are the ones mentioned above.
