Millennium Fellowship Project: It's Okay not to be Okay
It's Okay not to be okay is a mental health sloggan that encourages people to know that they do not have to be okay all the time. And the times that they are not, it's fine not to be. The project involves exercise, plogging, and Art therapy. The above exercises helps one relieve stress, anxiety and depression. Helping us to engage with the community more.
About the Millennium Fellow
Shaleen Wanjiru Njoki is a Kenyan citizen by birth. She is 20 years old and attends Moi University, Kenya pursuing Journalism and Media Studies. Shaleen has been passionate about equality of all sexes through equal representation and resources allocation since she was 7. This prompted her to change her course from criminology to Journalism and Media Studies. She is currently the chairperson of Masiz Pamoja International and organisation promoting SRHRS advocacy and GBV awareness in campus.
Shaleen is a well equipped in leadership skills.
