" The ultimate reality of development begins with health and knowledge. Lack of
knowledge has greatly impacted the development of the country, Uganda. Inspiration
to impact the community with health knowledge and guidance is one of the factors
motivating his attendance in the Fellowship. Owing to my experience and service, I
would love to keep the service at hand as the attainainment of Sustainable
Development goals becomes my main target. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Quality Health In Better Environments

Quality health in better environments is a cohort project lead by Millennium Fellows of Muni university 2022. It addresses issues of hygiene ,child pregnancy ,early school
drop outs, environmental hygiene and climate.
The project aims at engaging students from the rural schools. who hardly get a chance to be advised and also some community members.
This project will be done through open discussions with students and few community members with assistance of the visual aids and also practically carry out activities like tree planting, and teaching people how to make pads.
During the Millennium Fellowship period, quality health in better environments will have six sessions in total for reflection on how the program is to be carried out and the level of impact caused in the community.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ahurira witness is a Ugandan citizen, in his youthful ages. He is motivated to develop a
community/country that sustain each citizen's development ideas through good health
and guidance. He aspires to work professional, motivate more people and work hard to
the implementation and maintenance of the sustainable development goals. He is
always challenged when he see the suffering of people who have potentials to do well
in this world but lack a sustainable community to utilize and motivate their
capabilities.
He has acted as a leader all through his education life, acts as the deputy Guild
speaker Muni University. He has organised several seminars for the nursing students in
his Guild representative position. He has laid an impact in the implementation of
patient centered care in west nile region of Uganda under the PaCeM- Africa. He
attended and contributed to the Uganda German investment symposium aimed at
developing the westnile development groups and industries.
He is inspired to participate and take lead in the implementation of the Sustainable
development goals
