Millennium Fellowship Project: Quality Health In Better Environments

Quality health in better environments is a cohort project lead by Millennium Fellows of Muni university 2022. It addresses issues of hygiene ,child pregnancy ,early school
drop outs, environmental hygiene and climate.
The project aims at engaging students from the rural schools. who hardly get a chance to be advised and also some community members.
This project will be done through open discussions with students and few community members with assistance of the visual aids and also practically carry out activities like tree planting, and teaching people how to make pads.
During the Millennium Fellowship period, quality health in better environments will have six sessions in total for reflection on how the program is to be carried out and the level of impact caused in the community.

About the Millennium Fellow

Diana Nakasala Denise is a motivated, analytical, creative and passionate pre-med student doing her 4th year at Muni University, Arua (U). She is originally from Mbale (U) but has been residing in Arua for her studies. Ensuring good health and well-being of the people around her has always been an outstanding quality of Diana but this grew bigger when she started her service while acquiring knowledge at Arua Regional Referral Hospital.
During her time in the hospital, she, in her ability, has tried to organise a few outreaches to patients who can't avail themselves with simple basic needs like food and water that could foster their quick recovery and plans that under her leadership she will do more.
Diana hopes to find that position of leadership where she could guide others, in a greater capacity, in the development of the United Nations Sustainable Goals
