Millennium Fellowship Project: Bringing a Smile

Bringing a Smile project is an unregistered individual project in Uganda and is more of a charity project that fosters the wellbeing of the vulnerable children in my community in accordance with the existing regulations.and it has seen growth through the past couple of months in impacting the lives of the vulnerable children in my community through engagement activities and visits to these groups of young children and adolescents. The vision of the project is to ensure a brighter future through fostering literacy among the vulnerable groups of children in my community. This was as a result of the high levels of illiteracy in the country brought about by the inaccessibility to quality education because of the high costs attached to it.This project involves identifying the groups of children in the poor communities that have no access to the basics of life like food, shelter, clothes, scholastic materials and most of all an education.Thereafter, fundraisings from the able people in different communities are carried out so that we collect items in kind and cash which are later distributed to the children depending on their needs.
