" Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will allow me to develop my leadership skills, and more importantly create positive change within my community and beyond. I am excited to work with students at my own university and connect with students around the world! "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Transportation Transformation

We aim to expand access to free, eco-friendly transportation for Northeastern Students. Our plan includes lobbying for bike lanes on Huntington Avenue and Ruggles St, both major roads on campus, as well as free access to Boston public transit and to Blue Bikes bicycles for around Boston. We hope that our project will expand access to transportation, especially for students who need to commute to campus, co-op, or their job.

About the Millennium Fellow

Julia Foley is a second-year psychology student at Northeastern Univeristy in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. She has a passion for learning about global change and enacting it within her community. In high school, Julia investigated UN Sustainability Goals with a local organization and enacted change within her community, and cannot wait to do the same at college and beyond.
