Millennium Fellowship Project: Transportation Transformation
We promote clean, sustainable transportation and stay in conversation with local auhtorities to stay informed about developments in affordable public transportation and bike friendly infrastructure in Boston. We did this by attending local meetings about bike lanes on streets around our campus and finding out information and shring it via social media accounts.
About the Millennium Fellow
Umutemre (Uma) Kaplan is a politics, philosophy, and economics student at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachussets. Uma's main area of his focus is environmental protection and helping eliminate environmental devastation through collective effort. With his project Transportation Transformation, he will aim to promote sustainable lifestyles while making important resources more accessible to his peers in his community.
