" The Millennium Fellowship would give me that platform to indulge in a
transformative journey to discover more about myself, as well as the goals that I want to achieve. It would allow me to achieve another level of fulfilment, as well as develop my personality skills (self-awareness, teamwork, etc.) that are necessary for opening a social enterprise and indulge in something that I have been looking forward to for a very long time. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Meraki: For all

The educated and progressive classes of India still shy away from the mere fact that there is a need to be aware of one’s sexual and reproductive health. This project aims to start a dialogue on a topic that is still considered taboo, even in the most metropolitan areas of India, namely, Sexual and Reproductive Health.

The dialogue around this topic is not something new but we hope to bring in a new approach. Our main focus will be to present a legal perspective on these issues, and raise awareness about the rights and provisions provided to people regarding Menstruation and menstrual leave, Sex education/Consent/Contraceptives.

During the course of this project, we would be focusing on students across different law universities and informal women workers (Housekeeping and maintenance staff) on our campus and familiarizing them with these concepts as well as their rights.
