" Millennium Fellowship is an internationally recognised organization. After working with many NGO's and closely interacting with the less privileged I have been fortunate enough to understand their difficulties and I believe Millennium Fellowship is the perfect platform to execute these ideas.
Even today, there are lakhs of women who still can't gain access to hygeinic sanitary products and are forced by many restrictions imposed by the society. As an opinionated South Asian women, I myself have encountered such situations because of which this project is very special to me. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Periods Matters For Men Too

A lot has been talked about issues related to periods among women and most of the women are not able to talk about such a natural thing comfortably. Considering the fact that every woman knows what menstruation is, the only reason for discomfort amongst the women is the unawareness and insensitive attitude of the men towards them. This needs to be changed by making the men understand the concept and even make them sensitive towards the same so that the people menstruating get a safe environment where there are free to practice their will without any fear of getting judged.
