" " I believe I am capable of greatness, and so I have a responsibility to discover what that means. When you see people around you in distress, it doesn’t really matter if their issues seem big or small; it just feels wrong to turn the other cheek. These are the kinds of situations where a bystander with the ability to smoothen things out for someone has a responsibility to do so. With the Millennium Fellowship as our platform, our group will be able to do just that." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Shelters R Us
The goal of Shelters R Us is to purhase rain-resistant tents and distribute them to the Internally Displaced People in Sindh Province due to the floods that washded away their homes. Whenever they need to turn in for the night, or need a place to keep their families indoors, they can simply fold out their tents and unpack the equipped pillows, and blankets with ease. And no more need to worry about not finding space at shelters.
