" I am passionate about social justice and equality in my society because it is the fundamental right of each and everyone who is a part of society so that he or she can prosper himself or herself, make a name for himself or herself, and live a happier life. To follow my passion and help others have a better life, I need to have strong leadership skills so that I can motivate people to work hard, even when they don't want to do so. Millennium Fellowship will provide me with the training I need to develop these skills, which will make my social impact on society and my community more tangible aligned with UNAI principles and SDG's. I am very much excited to be a part of this prestigious Fellowship that will enhance my soft skills but also strengthen my academic background in areas such as leadership and conflict resolution--areas that are important for effective participation in our communities as global citizens. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Justajoo

The Urdu phrase justajoo translates to mean “quest for knowledge”. In Pakistan, many student leave their education after secondary school, due to financial issues. Justajoo aims to provide quality technical education to underprivileged students, which will help them to become self-sufficient and support themselves with freelance work — allowing them to continue their education through higher studies.
Our goal is to provide students with technology, through which they can learn and practice different technical skills (Web Development, Graphic Desigining, Data Science etc. Furthermore, we will provide them with the resources needed for their education and careers so that they can be more comfortable in their future careers.
Some professional experts in repective technical fields are contacted to provide these students training and guide them about technical practices to get successful in freelanicing and other areas. In order to help students find success in freelancing and related fields, our company uses a process that assesses aptitude levels. The first step is a simple aptitude test that measures potential IQ and problem-solving skills. Once we have evaluated this information, we select students based upon their knowledge and ability to work in the field.
