Millennium Fellowship Project: Madawa-E-Alam (مداوائے الم)
Madawa e Alam is a project aimed at ending the expolitation of microcephalic people in Pakistan. These microcephalic people, commonly known as "Faqirs of shah daula" are subjected to extreme exploitation, and are even forced to beg. They are given on contract to earn for their "agents". Madawa-e-Alam aims to fight all this mafia and ensure that these people are looked after in an affectionate and appropriate manner.
About the Millennium Fellow
Munzir Raza Kazmi, an engineering student at NUST, is such an enthusiast who is always willing to utilize his subject knowledge towards creative solutions of problems faced by humanity. Be it finding ways to minimize water wastage, alternative energy sources and philanthropic work, he has always tried to contribute his best towards every cause. Amongst all these issues, the top-of-the-list issue is of human rights violation, towards which he is extremely sensitive and feels the pain of humanity as it was his own agony.
