" As a member of the Millennium Fellowship, I am of the belief and aspiration that I will have access to distinct leadership training from global leaders who have faced a wide variety of challenges and are able to provide wide-ranging, recognizable, sustainable solutions to them.
Being a Millennium Fellow will assist me in connecting with other inspiring Fellows of the same habit of thought. The mentorship, experience, and guidance I will receive as a Millennium Fellow will position me better in my work as well as shape and broaden my scope. I’m excited about devoting my time in the right state of mind to learning with MCN. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Compassion for Humanity

Compassion for Humanity's project promotes high-quality education and healthy living among children, adults, and the elderly. The project seeks to give sustainable solution to trauma by raising public awareness and educating the public about trauma and trauma-related issues, causes, and ways to handle them and by empowering people via education and skill development for the advancement of Humanity. It briefly addresses problems the general public faces daily due to those issues and difficulties.

About the Millennium Fellow

Dele Junaid is an astute young visionary leader of Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria.
Dele Junaid’s passion for food security was born out of the rising hunger and malnutrition faced by his community. And he thought the only pragmatic way to put a halt to this societal menace was to get involved and channel his skills into agricultural development.
Right from his 100-level days, Junaid’s mission is to raise a generation of proactive youths that will pursue an agricultural revolution. As of today, he has successfully immersed over 500 youths in agriculture. Through his initiative and collaboration, he was able to cater to 9% of the university's fruit needs in 2021.
Junaid’s vision is to see a society free of hunger and well nourished, especially children, and until then, he’s on the wheel to contribute his quota to achieve the SDG 2 & 3.
