Obafemi Awolowo University | Ife, Nigeria | Advancing SDG 3 & UNAI 6

" "A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work"-- this quote is one of the many quotes that has inspired so far.
I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow because I get the opportunity to showcase some of the projects I've done, and get to create a good network with people working on projects similar to mine as well as people from other disciplines.
Doing this project has been challenging but haven't discouraged me. I'm doing this project because of the high rate of teenage death resulting from unsafe abortion. One of my goals is to create more awareness of how to prevent these deaths , educate people on family planning and make them know that it's accessible. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: The FP project
My project was based on SDG 3 and 5 , focusing on family planning. I had an online awareness on family planning methods and also created a vox pop in my school, interviewed some individuals to check out their knowledge of family planning.
