" My main two reasons for joining Millennium Fellowship are that I have been doing ground level social work for a long time and have learned a lot but it has always been self learning and realisation but with Millennium Fellowship I will be able to learn through people's experiences and from leaders and alumni who have a very strong hold on this subject and the other fact is that Millennium Fellowship is on a global level and connects you with people all over the world. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: GYAAN

Social welfare and environmental conservation are two of my key areas of interest. We have tree plantation drives or cleanliness drives on a regular basis for environmental conservation. As a result, I am unable to give desired time for social work, and it will be my primary focus this time. I've always felt sorry for orphans and other marginalised children who have limited educational opportunities. So, my project is volunteer teaching, and in order to do so, I've decided to form a group of students, and before we begin, we must all acquire various skills and knowledge about how to communicate with and teach these children. So, before implementing any project we have to create a ground for it . The earlier few months of this project will be for planning.

About the Millennium Fellow

Bhavya is a dedicated, motivated, and hardworking student who has always been interested in the law. She is in her second year at OP Jindal Global University. And she is overjoyed to be studying the subject she had always wanted to. As a result of her legal studies, she has discovered a growing interest in international relations, as well as a newfound fascination with arbitration and mediation. As a second-year student, she is now attempting to study and explore as many subjects as she can before deciding on a legal specialty. Her analytical and critical thinking abilities, as well as her understanding of research on a daily basis, have all improved as a result of her legal studies. She couldn't ask for anything more because the law excites her. She is a naturally curious person, and the law piques her interest with each new case and law she reads. She has a keen interest in social work and is a member of a few NGO's and projects that work in society upliftment. She also enjoys reading about society.
