" Often when I look at the world, what paints is a very bleak picture full of problems. But then I also see people who refuse to give up and continue working towards making a change. And I wish to become one of them. Because however small a spark maybe, it has the potential to ignite a fire. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: The Policy Reform Guide for Sustainable Universities (PRGSU)
The Policy reform guide for Sustainable Universities is a project led by Millennium fellow Bhuvana Katakam along with two other Fellows Simran Kaushal and Divyashree Jha. This project addresses the issues of achieving sustainability in institutions like Universities through collective efforts made by the students. The project aims to analyse the current policies governing sustainable development in the Universities approved by UGC and provide them with a policy reform guide that will help them develop various policies and strategies to attain the SDGs. As part of the project, we will engage in intensive research of the status quo, consult with experts and draft a policy reform guide. We will also conduct roundtable discussions within our university and collaborate with other Universities to achieve our objectives.
