" "The Millennium Fellowship is an undertaking that will allow me to combine my interest in feminist jurisprudence with my passion for climate justice. The Fellowship also fosters my creative expression while simultaneously testing my research capabilities." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Women for Climate Action
It is a project directed at actors interested in making an effort towards limiting the impact of climate change on women. The project aims to collectively educate women on climate change, and outline the effects and consequences of their involvement in policy actions, local governance and on an industrial level.
About the Millennium Fellow
Reva Satish Makhija is a dedicated, energetic and vivacious woman- determined to ensure social change and justice through her journey as a law student and beyond. Her specific interest is feminist jurisprudence, and as a Millennium Fellow, she wishes to explore its intersection with environmental law and climate change. As a native of India, her primary focus is to understand the consequences of 'sustainable living' programmes on women.
