Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health and You

The project aims to enlighten and sensitize students of Osun State University and secondary schools in Osogbo, Nigeria, on mental health and how they can take proper care of it.

The project focuses on educating students on the causes, symptoms and prevention of different forms of mental illnesses and how people can seek help from from loved ones and professional therapists to successfully manage mental illness.

The project also helps to demystify myths surrounding mental illness and discourage stigmatization and discrimination against people with mental illness.

About the Millennium Fellow

Emmauel Akinola is a bright medical student that resides in Nigeria West Africa.He has been so passionate about the mental health of students especially medical students that go into depression due to the stress of medical school.He is a well known student leader in his institution,this post will assist him to go reach a lot students.He is an advocate of the sustainable development goals.He promised himself to do everything in his reach to make the sustainable development goals in his community and country at large
