Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health and You

The project aims to enlighten and sensitize students of Osun State University and secondary schools in Osogbo, Nigeria, on mental health and how they can take proper care of it.

The project focuses on educating students on the causes, symptoms and prevention of different forms of mental illnesses and how people can seek help from from loved ones and professional therapists to successfully manage mental illness.

The project also helps to demystify myths surrounding mental illness and discourage stigmatization and discrimination against people with mental illness.

About the Millennium Fellow

Akinleye Opeyemi Oyindamola is a bright ,young and amazing Medical student at Osun State University.
She was born in Nigeria ,resides in Oyo state and studies at Osun State, Nigeria.
Akinleye Opeyemi has always been passionate about helping and encouraging young ones to learn skills to improve their lives.
She aspires to be in a professional setting where she can contribute to the development of UN's sustainable goals.
