Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health and You

The project aims to enlighten and sensitize students of Osun State University and secondary schools in Osogbo, Nigeria, on mental health and how they can take proper care of it.

The project focuses on educating students on the causes, symptoms and prevention of different forms of mental illnesses and how people can seek help from from loved ones and professional therapists to successfully manage mental illness.

The project also helps to demystify myths surrounding mental illness and discourage stigmatization and discrimination against people with mental illness.

About the Millennium Fellow

Salawudeen mutiyat Damola was born in October 3rd 2003 in osun state Nigeria. She attended Our Lady and St.Farncis Catholic college osogbo, she is currently a preclinical medical student in osun state University, she has always wanted to be part of something fundamentally important and in her own little ways be a change maker.
She enjoys reading novels and listening to music in her free time and she also attempts to take free courses when she is chances to. She is always eager to learn and gives her all to the tasks she is assigned to.
