Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health and You

The project aims to enlighten and sensitize students of Osun State University and secondary schools in Osogbo, Nigeria, on mental health and how they can take proper care of it.

The project focuses on educating students on the causes, symptoms and prevention of different forms of mental illnesses and how people can seek help from from loved ones and professional therapists to successfully manage mental illness.

The project also helps to demystify myths surrounding mental illness and discourage stigmatization and discrimination against people with mental illness.

About the Millennium Fellow

Adedeji Zainab Adedoyin is an amazing, smart, young medical student at Osun State University.
She was born in Lagos state, Nigeria and she currently resides in Osun State, Nigeria where she is currently studying.
Ever since she was small, Zainab has always been passionate about helping others and making the health care condition of her community better. She aspires to be in a professional field where she can help people, promote the health care conditions of her community and contribute her own contribution to development of United Nation's sustainable goal.
