" I discovered my passion for caring for the environment during the pandemic and that led me to ask myself the question, what can I do for my planet when I am at home? I discovered how important it is to have sustainable habits to take care of the environment as a way to contribute with our own actions in the reduction of carbon gases. Practicing the habit of recycling and creating eco-bricks is a way to be responsible for our waste and reduce our amount of garbage. Thanks to Millennium Fellowship I will be able to raise awareness and encourage the habit of recycling and making eco-bricks on my campus. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Generación Verde

The project consists of reinforcing and promoting environmental education at our university by teaching students how to correctly segregate waste. They are also taught that there are other recycling methods such as eco bricks. As a long term project we want to propose that the university implement areas or garbage containers where students can recycle. In addition, to promote the construction of recreational areas using eco bricks within the campus.
