" I'm thrilled to be a Millennium Fellow to highlight mental health awareness through a marginalized lens. I desire to utilize this stage to not simply embed my own story but to uplift others' struggles and nuances. No group of people is a monolith, and I need to exhibit that in my work as a Millennium Fellow. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health Awareness: Black and Queer
The project explored the relationship between mental health and marginalized people through fun activity booths like painting and building soothing kits, food, and an interactive presentation.
