Millennium Fellowship Project: Q-Environment
Q-Environment is a project focuses on SDG 12 which is "Responsible Consumption and Production", and mainly on substantially reducing waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse.
Through our project we aim to promote sustainable practices related to the environment, such as recycling and composting. One such example would be to promote the reuse of notes among university students. There is no need to re-print the same slides when one has access to reused notes.
Our team also aims to hold hands-on workshops at our university to encourage people to recycle at home in addition to teaching them the basics of composting and how to avoid single use plastics as well.
About the Millennium Fellow
Alanood Al-Remithi, is a mother , wife and student, it's not easy to manage her time between all responsibilitie but she put all her effort to be good citizens, and try to raising her children to be more influence on their society and having good quality of education because for her it's the biggest investment for future.
