" I believe that, during the Millennium Fellowship, I will be given the tools I need to make my humble contributions to my society turn into professional projects that positively impact more lives. Also, communicating with students and mentors from all over the world will be a great opportunity for me to broaden my mind and think globally while gaining knowledge and exchange thoughts with like-minded and passionate students. Such environment will surely make me more knowledgeable and skilled than ever. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Q-Environment

Q-Environment is a project focuses on SDG 12 which is "Responsible Consumption and Production", and mainly on substantially reducing waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse.
Through our project we aim to promote sustainable practices related to the environment, such as recycling and composting. One such example would be to promote the reuse of notes among university students. There is no need to re-print the same slides when one has access to reused notes.
Our team also aims to hold hands-on workshops at our university to encourage people to recycle at home in addition to teaching them the basics of composting and how to avoid single use plastics as well.
