Millennium Fellowship Project: Legal Literacy for a Sustainable Tomorrow

The Indian Journal of Projects, Infrastructure and Energy Law (IJPIEL) is a student-run law
journal and blog founded in July 2020 by a group of students from Universities across the nation, led by me. It undertakes its operations under the aegis of the IJPIEL Academic Research Foundation, a Section 8 Company.

The Indian Journal of Projects, Infrastructure, and Energy Law (IJPIEL) has 12k+ weekly readers and has published 200+ Blog Posts and 2 Journal issues. It is ranked #5 in the 'Top 30 Global Blogs to follow for Energy Law' list for 2021 and 2022 (a list that also features global firms such as Greenberg Traurig LLP, Stikeman Elliott, and Latham & Watkins) by Feedspot, a Silicon-Valley based independent ranking agency.

We have worked with 40+ Tiered firms in India (including 23/27 firms awarded a Tier for 'Projects & Energy in India' by the Legal 500 this year), Tiered firms from 15+ Foreign jurisdictions and six continents (including Magic & Silver Circle Firms), Judges & Judicial Clerks (from India, Nigeria, and Pakistan), In-House Attorneys from Fortune 500, Next 500, and India 500 list companies, Consultants from the Big 4s, Queen's Counsels, practising attorneys in 10+ State Bar Councils, Professors & Researchers from QS Top 500 Universities, and much more.

About the Millennium Fellow

Naman Anand is a penultimate year BA LLB (Hons) student at the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law. He is interested in International Law and Public Policy and is the author of numerous publications. Currently working as a Research Assistant to a Visiting Fellow at the University of Cambridge. He possesses the rare distinction of being conferred the UN Millennium Fellowship twice (2022/23 and 2021/22).

He has previously interned with numerous Civil Society Organizations and is the Founder of the Indian Journal of Projects, Infrastructure, and Energy Law.
