Millennium Fellowship Project: Modernized Aquaculture

It is the production of fish in Rwanda, not in fish ponds as they are grown, but in modernized and equipped aquariums in order to maximize production, monitor the health of the fish that I will be producing, and avoid any type of waste in order to reduce the scarcity of fish on the Rwandan market.

About the Millennium Fellow

AGASARO Laurie Meghan Julius is a student at the Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture, she is a driven, imaginative, and diligent young woman pursuing her bachelor's degree in conservation agriculture. She was raised and born in Burundi, then moved to Rwanda with her family to attend high school and university there. Meghan has volunteered in numerous organizations in Rwanda that aim to improve the status of youth and public understanding of how the government functions. The agriculture sector most intrigued her because of what it can contribute to the growth of Rwanda's economy if it is modernized with the best knowledge.
