Millennium Fellowship Project: SOCIAL - Student Open Collaborative for Innovative Applications
Our project SOCIAL aims at creating employers rather than employees; by motivating and providing a support system to students with innovative ideas to bring out and try out their ideas. We connect them to the right resources and expertise, thus creating an enabling environment for ideas and students to grow and develop. We aim to achieve this goal through a Product Pitch Competition with an emphasis on products that solve problems faced by society at large. SOCIAL is organized in association with RSET IEDC (Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre), which is an entrepreneurship club under the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM). KSUM is the central agency of the Government of Kerala for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in Kerala, India
Event Highlights:
The top teams will receive incentives (cash awards and certificates) support for their
product. Sessions on entrepreneurship aspects such as networking, budgeting,
fundraising, pitching & business modeling will be delivered by well-known innovators and practitioners for all enrollees. We intend to reach out to a minimum of 50 aspiring entrepreneurs, thereby positively impacting thousands of lives through the activities of the SOCIAL inducted entrepreneurs.

About the Millennium Fellow
Sagar Suresh is a dedicated student at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology who has shown that with hard work and determination, it is possible to keep a commendable record in academic and co-curricular activity at the same time .He resides in India and is currently persuing bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.His perseverance rewarded him with a wealth of experience, social skills and connections .Guiding his Fellow peers,Social Service ,Problem solving, Painting and Sketching are among his passions. He does not let his failures take the good out of him instead pushes himself every time to become the best version of himself so that he can overcome his fears and achieve his dreams . His enthusiastic style and determination has allowed him to become a valuable asset to the roles and tasks assigned to him . While pursuing his vocation, he held positions and roles such as CCA( Co-Curricular Activity) Captain, Volunteer in IEDC, IEEE, Anchor in ICACC, Ambassador in IEEE PES YP Future Summit 2021,Internship Lead in RSET EEE Department Documentation Team and Class Representative. Sagar reflected the fruits of his labour in every way and aims to give his best to contribute to the development of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for better future .
