Salisbury University | Maryland, United States | Advancing SDG 3 & UNAI 5
" As a female collegiate athlete, I have a fierce drive and determination for those things I am passionate about. Recognizing and improving gender equality, promoting health and well-being to include mental wellness, and ensuring quality education for all. The collegiate athletic and academic opportunities I have had thus far in collaboration with the opportunities I will be afforded with the Millennium Fellowship will allow me to make positive changes in these areas on which I am focused. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Performace Program
The goal of our mental performance program is to give student-athletes the safe space and training to learn how to communicate their hardships, identify their feelings, and feel comfortable amongst their teams. We hold workshops to instill options for student-athletes to take care of their mental needs while overcoming their physical requirements.
