United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Clime Pakistan

Clime Pakistan is an independent project led by our campus Fellows. The project aims to promote climate activism in Pakisan ad it is severely facing the catastrophic destruction caused by changing wheathers, heavy rain falls, floods and droughts. The project has won the best social action project award by a well-known youth platform of the country as well. Studnets from different campuses and and volunteers around the country are engaged to in promoting climate activism via this project. During the Millennium Fellowship period (August - December 2022), project Clime Pakistan will host a minimum of three online events. These online events will be a mix film screening, art-making workshops, roundtable discussions, and open mics. We are aiming to reach about 1000 people combined across events.

About the Millennium Fellow

I am Mariya Ali. I am an undergraduate student of Sukkur IBA University working in computer science. I aspire to work for SDGs.
