" I believe "Mind is everything, what you think you become"
There is no power in this world which can stop us becoming what we want to. This Fellowship shall provide me with a platform through which I can work on my idea, which is empowering the women.
Nobody needs help, all they need is a little support and a guiding hand.
Looking forward to this amazing journey. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Children Today Leaders Tomorrow
This project is not only a task or an assignment which I have dreamed of or planned. Certainly I see it as a lifestyle which every child coming from different walks of life will adopt post being a part of it. It's about educating the ignited minds, the Millenniums and the Gen-Z what we call them today.
I come from a society which work on a patriarcal model, where it is claimed that right
to equality is for all, but the reality speaks something else. Being a young girl coming
from such society makes one thing very clear in my mind that 'good quality of
education' is the basic necessity for all particulary for girls.
The idea of equality is empty, it doe not work the way it is insribled in the documents
of esteemed nature. 'Equals are to be treated equally' is a better and rational
equation which this socitey has derived in due process of time.
I consider imparting good education as the need of the hour to bring girls at par with
others in the soicety. They should have their own identity rather than tagged by
identity of their father, brother, or husband for that matter.
Since these ignited minds are the future of countury, they need to have strong foundations and knowledge. Imparting quality education will be the piviotal aspect of this project.
