Millennium Fellowship Project: Say Yes To Cups
The project caters to SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production is an attempt at disseminating information about Menstrual Cups and shattering any and all myths around Menstrual practices. The project emphasises on the economic and environmental sustainability of the Cups, promoting them as a mainstream Menstrual product.
About the Millennium Fellow
I, Nandini Gupta, a fourth-year law student of BA LL.B at Symbiosis Law School Noida, have found myself increasingly inclined towards various facets of public law. I aspire to work towards building a more inclusive, compassionate society, and have chosen the path of gender studies, environmental law, human rights and constitutional law.
Finding my identity as a 'ecofeminist', I have interned extensively at the Delhi High Court, both as a legal intern, and a judicial intern. My stint at the High Court has given me far-reaching insight into the world of litigation, and the rapidly changing attitude of the progressive judiciary. It provided me an unparalleled opportunity to learn of vulnerable groups, and how the system provides for them.
In a society as pluralist as ours, I have come to understand the extent of the importance of having a strong voice, and the imperative need to be heard. My years with the debate society, both as a speaker and an A level adjudicator have chiselled my ability to articulate well, listen patiently, and consequently works towards resolution.
