Millennium Fellowship Project: Project ADHIKAAR
My project was based on the legal and political rights of women in India. I wanted to start a discussion and discourse on the existing legal and political framework, followed by a critical analysis and finally advocate for better and more sructured reforms.
About the Millennium Fellow
Vaishnavi is an ardent law student who was born and brought in a rural area of a deprived state. While completing her education from there, she learnt that there is a dire need of change in the system especially with respect to the women and children. She later joined an NGO working for the underprivileged section of the society and joined the law school Legal Aid Centre.
