Millennium Fellowship Project: Un-Veiled
The project would be a podcast which aim to raise awareness on gender inequalities and feminism. The name is based on a French feminist figure: Simone Veil and show our will to emphasize the reality of women condition. We will have two main formats: short episodes that are giving people the main theoretical keys and long episodes where we will make reports or interviews. Those podcasts will give people the main theorical and rhetoric keys on gender inequalities debate.
They will also allow people realize what women lives conditions are, and maybe help women to understand that what they are living is not normal. We believe that conveying information’s and helping educating people will ensure a social change. An Instagram account will be related to the podcast to maximise our reach, promote it and share the main ideas of the podcast on social media.
If we can, and if the covid situation allow us, we would like to launch debates on the podcast theme.
About the Millennium Fellow
Marie de Sousa is a curious, diligent, and committed student in the Political and Government major at the Institut d'études politiques de Paris (SciencesPo). Since her childhood, Marie cultivated a meaning for the fight against inequalities and the non-respect of the Human Rights. Also, passionate about conflicts and defense as much as international relations and history, she organised high school events, as a young ambassador of UNICEF, by linking the defense of the protection of children with international subjects as conflicts and environmental issues. Marie has the will to understand international situations to better prevent them and expects to lead further that method in the United Nation's sustainable development goals.
